Covenant
Membership at RCC is a voluntary, meaningful commitment. It is not merely adding your name to a register — it is joining a covenant community of believers who have committed to pursue God together and represent Him faithfully in the world.
Before becoming a member of Reconciliation Christian Centre, every person is asked to agree with our Articles of Faith and to personally embrace the following covenant commitments. These are not conditions for attending — they are standards for belonging.
“Worthily of the calling you have received.” — Ephesians 4:1
As a Member of RCC, I Commit To:
Honouring God as my Lord and obeying Him with all my heart, even unto death, by living a life of holiness in thought and deed.
Being committed to all church programmes and activities with zeal and consistency.
A life of regular prayer, Bible study, and fasting for the advance of God’s kingdom.
Abstaining from all forms of alcohol, drug, or substance abuse — including the selling or buying of such substances.
Dressing decently, modestly, and with propriety in the church and in society, so as not to cause offence, and observing the biblical custom on head covering during public worship.
Notifying the church of any romantic relationship I enter into, in a timely manner.
Accepting all scriptural disciplinary measures from the church in a spirit of humility and restoration.
Serving in the church by identifying with and belonging to at least one service unit.
Fulfilling my civic duties to my government and community as required.
Being faithful to my spouse in upholding biblical principles on love, submission, monogamy, lifelong fidelity, and all biblical standards on Christian marriage.
Working with my hands in a spirit of excellence, shunning idleness and laziness, providing for my own needs, and helping those in need.
Abstaining from gambling, gossip, meddlesome behaviour, and unnecessary debt, so as to maintain my honour before God and society.
Shunning all forms of corruption — financial or otherwise — in office, business, and the workplace.
Giving a tenth of all my income and other offerings as needed to RCC, to promote its vision and objectives.
Pledging my loyalty to God and to the church leadership according to Scripture, in good conscience.

Membership of RCC Gombe is voluntary. Only God, who knows the heart, registers people in heaven. This is membership of the local church community, entered into freely and willingly.
